LAS VEGAS - UNLV Athletics has announced the release of three new balcony level ticket packages for this upcoming men's basketball season, which marks the first time UNLV has offered such ticket packages. The ticket packages range from $39-$65 and are currently on-sale by calling (702) 739-FANS. Single game tickets - in both the plaza and balcony levels - will be released on Monday, Nov. 2.

"We wanted to offer something for our fans this year that was different," said Interim UNLV Athletics Director Jerry Koloskie about the ticket packages. "These plans are affordable and family-centered. We want families to be able to afford to spend time with one another at a Runnin' Rebel game. It's the best value in Las Vegas."

The three balcony level ticket packages include:

Runnin' Rebel Power 6-Pack
Pittsburg State (Opening Night), UNR, Louisville, South Carolina-Upstate, Air Force and BYU

Runnin Rebel 4-Game Flex Pack
Pittsburg State (Opening Night), UNR or Louisville, plus choice of two of the following games: Southern Illinois, Holy Cross, Weber State, South Carolina-Upstate, Air Force, or TCU

Kruger Claus 5-Game Stocking Stuffer
Utah, Air Force, BYU, Colorado State, and TCU plus holiday card signed by coach Lon Kruger if ordered before Dec. 15, 2009.

Season ticket packages are still on sale for the season in both plaza and balcony levels. Balcony level season tickets begin at $90 (endzone balcony) and are $175 for regular balcony seating. Plaza level season ticket packages are $485, with select seats featuring additional scholarships to the Rebel Athletic Fund.

UNLV will play 16 games at the Thomas & Mack Center this season, starting with an exhibition game vs. Washburn on Nov. 10 and Opening Night on Nov. 14 vs. Pittsburg State.
