LAS VEGAS - The first 3,000 fans in attendance to the UNLV men's basketball game vs. BYU on Saturday, Feb. 21 will receive a poster featuring the 2008-09 Runnin' Rebel seniors - Wink Adams, Joe Darger, René Rougeau, Mareceo Rutledge and Rob Ketchum. The game is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. with the Thomas & Mack Center doors set to open at 7 p.m.
The senior poster is sponsored by LEWCO Electric Company and KLAS Channel 8.
UNLV Athletics has also announced it will pay tribute to the first-ever UNLV men's basketball team at halftime of the game vs. BYU. This season marks the 50th anniversary of the 1958-59 Nevada Southern University squad. Nevada Southern University would later become the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV).
Members of the 1958-59 team in attendance will be introduced to the crowd in a brief ceremony.
"This is the group that started it all with our program," UNLV head coach Lon Kruger said. "It's a unique opportunity for them to get back together and celebrate what they did 50 years ago."

The Runnin' Rebels are coming off a 71-57 win over TCU on Tuesday night at the Thomas & Mack Center. UNLV, now 18-6 overall on the season and 6-4 in Mountain West Conference play, will host Colorado State this Saturday, Feb. 14 at 7 p.m. and play at Wyoming on Wednesday, Feb.18 before hosting BYU.
