LAS VEGAS - The UNLV men's basketball team's 2008-09 season will be celebrated on Sunday, March 15, as the Runnin' Rebel Basketball Banquet will take place at Cox Pavilion.

The event will begin at 1 p.m. with a "Meet and Greet," which will also be a chance to get autographs and take photos with members of the Runnin' Rebel program. Lunch will be served at 1:45 p.m., while an awards ceremony will take place at 2:15 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring cameras to the family-friendly event.

Seating is limited and reservations are required. The cost is $30 per person or $15 for children under the age of 12 to attend the banquet. The banquet will be business casual attire.

The Runnin' Rebels are coming off a 75-74 win over BYU on Saturday night at the Thomas & Mack Center in front of their first sellout crowd since 1993 vs. Georgetown. Saturday night's attendance was 18,523. UNLV, now 20-7 overall on the season and 8-5 in Mountain West Conference play, will play at first-place Utah this Wednesday then have a week off before hosting Air Force.
