LAS VEGAS - Sophomore Rumyana Terzieva is the last remaining UNLV player and will play for the Flight Two singles final on Sunday after a second day of action at the eighth annual Freeman Memorial Tennis Championships Saturday at the Fertitta Tennis Complex.

Terzieva downed Arizona State's Amanda Martin 6-4, 6-1 to advance. She will play Stanford's Natalie Dillon in the final after the Cardinal player ousted UNLV's Ella Bourchier 7-6, 3-6, 6-4 in the other semifinal.

The host school's only remaining doubles team in the main draw, Anna Maskaljun and Alisa Razina, fell to the event's top seed, Sanaz Marand and Sophie Grabinski of North Carolina 8-5.

With both of the top two seeds being upset on Saturday, the event's singles final will be played between Katrina Tsang of North Carolina vs. Stacey Tan of Stanford.

Players from eight of the elite college programs in the United States have gathered on campus for what is one of the game's top individual tournaments each season. The final day of action will begin Sunday at 10 a.m. PT with the doubles semifinals, which will be followed by the doubles championship, which will be followed by the singles final. Admission to all matches is free.
