LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - Off to its best start in 20 years, the No. 19/20 UNLV men's basketball team (9-0) hung on to defeat Boise State on Wednesday night at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, 75-72. The Runnin' Rebels raced out to a 15-0 lead just over five minutes into the game and led 22-4 after eight minutes. It was UNLV's first game in Las Vegas since Nov. 20 when it defeated then-No. 25 Wisconsin at the Thomas & Mack Center. UNLV will now head back out on the road and travel to Louisville, Ky., for a Saturday, Dec. 11 game at 12 p.m. EST/9 a.m. PST against No. 24 Louisville. The brand new KFC Yum! Center will be the site of the game, which will be televised by ESPNU HD. The radio broadcast may be heard on ESPN Radio 1100 AM/98.9 FM and is also available at UNLVRebels.com through the subscription-based All-Access feature.
