PROVO, Utah - The 58th-ranked UNLV men's tennis team ran into a hot BYU on Saturday and left with a 7-0 loss at the hands of the 35th-ranked Cougars.

The Rebels dropped to 12-10 overall and 2-3 in the league while BYU won its 20th match of the season and stayed on top of the Mountain West Conference standings.

UNLV actually won the first completed match of the day when Kasper Konyves and Attila Toth combined for an 8-5 victory over Ricardo Campos and Evan Urbina in the third spot of doubles. It was all BYU from there, however, as the Cougars went on to earn the doubles point and then sweep singles play.

The Rebels will close out their regular-season schedule with a trip to San Diego State next Saturday.
