LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - UNLV Athletics will hold its fourth annual Runnin' Rebel Kids' Day as the UNLV men's basketball team takes on conference rival New Mexico on Saturday, Jan. 22 at 1 p.m. at the Thomas & Mack Center.
Balcony tickets for kids 12-and-under are just $5 (in advance) and adults start at just $12 (in advance). Day of game pricing is $7 for kids and $15 for adults.
A kids' festival will take place prior to the game (from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.) in the Cox Pavilion, which is attached to the Thomas & Mack Center. Admission to the festival is free with a game ticket.
"Kids' Day has quickly become a fan favorite for so many families," said D.J. Allen, Sr. Associate Athletics Director of External Affairs for UNLV Athletics. "It's a great opportunity for families to spend time together, not only at the game, but at the festival. And with the new ticket special for kids, we're hoping more families will take the opportunity to spend a day together."
The festival will feature a four-on-four mascot basketball game, giveaways and more. Runnin' Rebel players - including Mike Moser - will be on hand at different periods during the festival to sign autographs for kids.
Specifics for the kids' festival will include: two large bounce houses; music provided by KYDZ 1140 AM; face painting; a photo booth where kids can get a personalized UNLV trading card photo, courtesy of official UNLV Kids Club sponsor NSR/Rapport; free ice cream, courtesy of Official UNLV Kids Club sponsor Meadow Gold; free frozen yogurt, courtesy of U-Swirl; and massage chairs provided by Massage Envy.
Additionally, the UNLV baseball and softball teams will be on hand and there will be raffles and prizes for kids throughout the event.
