LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - After defeating USC 66-55 on Friday night in the Continental Tire Las Vegas Invitational at the Orleans Arena, the UNLV men's basketball team has advanced to the championship game where it will meet No. 1 North Carolina on Saturday, Nov. 26, at 7:30 p.m. at the Orleans Arena. Tickets are still available and may be purchased through OrleansArena.com or by calling 702-284-7777. The game will be televised nationally on ESPN2 with Jon Sciambi and Jay Bilas calling the action, while Jon Sandler and Robert Smith will handle the UNLV radio call, which may be heard live in Las Vegas on ESPN Radio 1100 AM/98.9 FM. The radio broadcast is also available at UNLVRebels.com through the subscription-based All-Access feature, while Gametracker is provided for free on the website. Friday marked UNLV's first game away from the Thomas & Mack Center where the Runnin' Rebels went 5-0 to start the season: Grand Canyon (83-66), Nevada, Reno (71-67), Canisius (95-70), Morgan State (92-55) and Cal Poly (75-52). The Runnin' Rebels are undefeated at 6-0, while the Tar Heels are also undefeated at 5-0.
