LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - After recording its second win over a ranked team this season, the UNLV men's basketball team will play at home at the Thomas & Mack Center for just the second time in 27 days as it hosts Louisiana-Monroe on Monday, Dec. 19, at 7 p.m. The Runnin' Rebels defeated No. 19 Illinois on Saturday, 64-48, at the United Center in Chicago. UNLV's other win over a ranked team this year was against then-No. 1 North Carolina on Nov. 26. Monday's game will not be televised. Jon Sandler and Robert Smith will handle the UNLV radio broadcast, which may be heard live in Las Vegas on ESPN Radio 1100 AM/98.9 FM. The radio broadcast is also available at UNLVRebels.com through the subscription-based All-Access feature, while Gametracker is provided for free on the website. After being ranked 18th in the country by the Associated Press and 20th in the ESPN/USA Today Coaches' poll Nov. 28, the Runnin' Rebels are receiving votes in both polls for the second straight week. The new rankings will be released Monday morning.
