Runnin' Rebels At Wichita State In MW-MVC Challenge

LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - After upsetting then-No. 1 North Carolina, 90-80, on Nov. 26 and earning a national ranking of No. 18/20, the UNLV men's basketball team played its first road game of the season on Wednesday at UC Santa Barbara, coming away with a thrilling double-overtime win, 94-88, at the Thunderdome. The Runnin' Rebels will remain on the road this weekend as they travel to Wichita, Kan., to face Wichita State on Sunday, Dec. 4, at Charles Koch Arena. The game is part of the Mountain West-Missouri Valley Challenge and will be televised by Cox Kansas 22 with the feed shown in Southern Nevada on Cox Channel 96. The television broadcast will be called by Bruce Haertl and Craig Seven, while Jon Sandler and Robert Smith will handle the UNLV radio call, which may be heard live in Las Vegas on ESPN Radio 1100 AM/98.9 FM. The radio broadcast is also available at UNLVRebels.com through the subscription-based All-Access feature, while Gametracker is provided for free on the website. The TV broadcast will also be streamed online at www.Cox96.net. This will mark the third meeting between UNLV and Wichita State in men's basketball with the all-time series tied at 1-1.
