LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - UNLV had a total of 35 student-athletes named to the Fall 2010 Academic All-Mountain West Conference Award, the league announced. The Rebels have had 35 fall representatives for four consecutive years.

The women's soccer team led the way with 14 honorees, which ties the program-high previously recorded in 2005.

The football team produced 12 members to the list, while cross country had five and volleyball had four to round out the quartet of sports sponsored by UNLV in the fall academic period.

To be eligible for selection to the Academic All-MWC team, student-athletes must have completed at least one academic term at the school, while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better, and be a starter or significant contributor on their team.
