LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV men's basketball team (18-6, 6-4 MWC) has won four of its last five games, including a 94-79 victory at TCU on Wednesday, in which the Runnin' Rebels shot 61.4 percent from the floor and a season-high 64.7 percent from 3-point range (11-of-17). UNLV will now welcome the highest-ranked team to face the Runnin' Rebels at the Thomas & Mack Center since 2007 in No. 6 San Diego State on Saturday, Feb. 12, at 5 p.m. The game will be televised live on CBS College in high definition with Dave Ryan and Steve Lappas calling the action. Jon Sandler and Robert Smith will handle the radio call, which may be heard live in Las Vegas on ESPN Radio 1100 AM/98.9 FM. It is also available at UNLVRebels.com through the subscription-based All-Access feature. San Diego State won the season's first meeting, 55-49, on Jan. 12 in San Diego. There are approximately 1,000 tickets remaining to sell to the public for Saturday's game (as of Friday morning). Former UNLV baseball great and current Major League star Ryan Ludwick will have his UNLV jersey retired just prior to Saturday's game and there will be a special halftime performance honoring Black History Month.
