LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - UNLV senior men's tennis standout Mehdi Bouras was named Mountain West Conference Co-Player of the Week, the league announced Wednesday.

It marked the second time this season and third time in his career that Bouras was honored by the MWC. He shared this week's award with Lance Wilhelm of Air Force.

Bouras, who on Monday earned a career-high national singles ranking of 76 from the ITA, did not lose a set while forging a combined 6-0 record last week in singles and doubles to lead UNLV to a 3-0 mark.

The Rebels (8-3) will be back in action on Friday when they host Oklahoma State beginning with doubles at 2 p.m. Admission to all UNLV tennis matches is free of charge.
