LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The 52nd-ranked UNLV women's tennis team stayed perfect in Mountain West Conference play with a 7-0 win over Colorado State on Saturday at the Fertitta Tennis Complex.

The Lady Rebels improved to 13-4 overall and 2-0 in the MWC while the Rams dropped to 7-7 (0-2).

UNLV began the morning by sweeping three doubles matches for one team point. Nives Pavlovic and Aleksandra Josifoska won 8-4 at the top of the lineup; Lucia Batta and Anna Maskaljun won by the same score at No. 2; and Jana Albers and Adrienn Hidvegi won 8-3 on court three.

In singles play, no Lady Rebel lost even a set.

Batta, ranked 110th, won 6-3, 6-2 over Caitlin Fluegge at No. 1; Josifoska downed Tory Arneson 6-4, 6-4 at No. 2; Pavlovic won 6-0, 6-3 over Lauren Mulhern at No. 3; Hidvegi swept Veronika Wojakowska 6-3, 6-2 at No. 4; Albers won 6-4, 6-3 over Kaley Schultz at No. 5; and Maskaljun downed Lauren Pick 6-1, 6-1 on court six.

UNLV will close out its home season with Senior Day vs. Air Force on Sunday starting with doubles play at 10 a.m. Admission is free of charge.

The squad's three seniors will be honored before the match and it will also be Campus Kids' Day at the Fertitta Tennis Complex on campus. A free pizza lunch will be served while supplies last. Following the match, all junior tennis players who bring their own racquet will be invited to take the courts for instruction and drills from the UNLV women's players.

Sponsored by the United States Tennis Association, the Campus Kids' Day program is being offered at more than 100 men's and women's matches across the nation this season and designed to expose more junior players (along with their parents and coaches) to college tennis.
