LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - UNLV assistant track & field coach Khadevis Robinson finished third in his 800m heat at the 2011 IAAF World Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Daegu, South Korea. Robinson ran a time of 1:48.41 to automatically advance to Sunday's semifinals (6:00 pm Daegu time).
Robinson wasn't the only American to advance to Sunday's semifinals, as teammate Nick Symmonds, who won the event at the 2011 USA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in June, finished first in his heat with a time of 1:46.54.
