TULSA, Okla. - If the UNLV contingent is going to advance into the main draw of the 2012 ITA Men's All-American Championships at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center, it's going to have to be in doubles as its last remaining singles player was ousted Monday.

Playing in the first round of qualifying, Tamas Batyi fell in straight sets to Duke's Jason Tahir, 6-1, 7-5, and now moves into the consolation draw.

Also, Batyi and partner Johannes Markel as well as the Rebel duo of Ace Matias and Bernard Schoeman will open play in the doubles portion of the event on Tuesday.
