Take a Timeout to Get to Know Rebel Girl of the Week:
Alyse Jenkins
Hometown: West Covina, California
Year: Freshman
Major: Biology
My nicknames are: Pookie and Lyse Loo.
My pre-game ritual is: to pray before a game. When I cheered for my high school team, we always prayed together and it worked very well for me.
My biggest influence is: my older sister Ebony Jenkins.
The best thing about being a Rebel is: being a part of the cheer family.
My most prized possession is: my class ring that my parents bought me. They had a secret message engraved in the ring that I absolutely love.
The best free show in Las Vegas is: the beautiful water show in front of the Bellagio.
If I were to sing karaoke, I would sing: "Reflection" from the movie Mulan. I really love that song as well as the movie.
My best dish when I cook is: spaghetti and fried chicken. Yes, I cook them together and it tastes amazing!
Currently on my iPod playlist is: Hip Hop and R&B.
I see myself in five years at: USC or Howard Medical School.
My celebrity crush is: Chris Brown.
Something that few people know about me is that: I love to bake cookies, cake, cupcakes and brownies. I also enjoy creating new things to cook.
The one achievement that makes me the most proud is: graduating high school in the top 10% of my class.
The one physical feature that I get complimented on most often is: my smile.
My worst habit is: that I can sleep way too much.
If I could have one superpower, it would be: to have the ability to be invisible. I am not quite sure why I would want to be invisible, but maybe just to get around from place to place without being seen. I could be a little sneaky character.
The top three things on my bucket list are: to get into medical school, to become an obstetrician and to have twin daughters.
