2012 Pasadena Games Results

PASADENA, Calif. (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV track & field team racked up nine first-place finishes at this weekend's Pasadena Games hosted by Pasadena City College at Robinson Stadium. The Rebels claimed the top spot in three relays (4x100, 4x400 and 4x800), while six individuals finished first in their respective events.

Besides UNLV taking first in nine of the 17 competitions, the Rebels had 38 top-eight finishes.

Kelsey Williamson claimed first place in the 800m (2:07.75 - personal best) besides running legs of the 4x400 (3:47.44) and 4x800 (9:20.31). Williamson was second in the 400 (55.11 PB).

Secoral Yanez teamed with Williamson in the 4x400 and also helped the 4x100 to its first-place finish. Individually, Yanez claimed the top spot in the 200 (24.34 PB).

Brett Zorich ran a leg of the first-place 4x400 and 4x800 relays and finished second in the 800m (2:08.15 PB) and third in the 400 (55.12 PB).

Christine Lowe rounded out the 4x400 quartet and won the 400m hurdles (59.18 PB).

Alison Bartosch and Lauren Petersen finished first in the 1500m (4:38.79) and 5000m (17:40.00 PB), respectively. Bartosch also tallied third in the 800m (2:10.19 PB).

Ashley Henry finished first in the high jump with a measurement of 5-6.92 (1.70m).

UNLV returns to action next week in Austin, Texas at the Texas Relays from March 28-31.
