LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV men's tennis team is seeded fifth and opens play at the Mountain West Championships on Friday vs. fourth-seeded TCU at 10 a.m. PT.
All matches will be played at the Aztec Tennis Center on the campus of San Diego State.
The Rebels, 7-15 overall and 1-4 in the MW, are looking to win their first league tournament title since 2007. The Horned Frogs are 8-14 and 2-3 but defeated UNLV 6-1 earlier this month in Las Vegas. The winner of the rematch will be playing in Saturday's semifinals vs. top-seeded Boise State, which earned a bye.
On the other side of the bracket, No. 3 New Mexico will take on No. 6 Air Force, with the winner meeting the second-seeded host Aztecs the following day. The men's final is scheduled for Sunday at 10 a.m. PT
