LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV cross country team will compete in San Diego State's 68th Annual Aztec Invitational on Saturday morning at 8:30 am. The event, which includes five races, is set to take place at historic Balboa Park. The Rebels will compete in the meet's second race, the women's invitational (5K).

UNLV and SDSU will be joined by USC, San Jose State, Cal State Northridge, Point Loma Nazarene, Biola University, Scottsdale Community College and Estrella Mountain Community College.

At this event last year, UNLV finished fourth overall and was paced by a fourth-place finish from Lauren Petersen, who clocked a time of 18:43.0.

Petersen will lead the Rebel contingent down I-15 for the early morning run. She will be joined by Laura Affeld, Courtney Allen, Amanda Berg, Katie Cochran, Auzsane Crowe-Carter, Corey Honeycutt and Sara Williams.
