LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - It has been brought to the UNLV Athletic Department's attention that an individual representing himself as a member of the UNLV football team has been approaching businesses in the Southern Nevada area and soliciting donations for the program.

We have received multiple calls from local businesses about this unauthorized activity.

This person is not a student-athlete at UNLV and is not affiliated with the Athletics Department in any way.

Further, no UNLV student-athlete will ever directly solicit donations on behalf of the school.

If any individual enters your business or comes to your door claiming to be a UNLV student-athlete and is soliciting donations, please report them to your local law enforcement agency.
