LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - Host UNLV finished with a pair of doubles wins Sunday to close out the 11th annual Freeman Memorial Women's Tennis Championships at the Fertitta Tennis Complex on campus.

In added action, Aleksandra Josifoska and Iren Kotseva downed Oregon's Julia Metzger and Sofia Hager 8-7 while Janine Erasmus and Anett Ferenczi-Bako blanked teammates Ella Bourchier and Alexis Garrett 8-0.

In the main draw, fourth-seeded and 17th-ranked Sabrina Santamaria of USC swept second-seeded and 11th-ranked Gina Suarez-Malaguti of North Carolina 6-0, 6-1 to take the singles title in flight one.

Santamaria also won the doubles crown when she and Kaitlyn Christian, who make up the nation's top-ranked duo, doubled up second-seeded Ashley Dai and Whitney Kay of North Carolina, 8-4.

UNLV will open its dual-match season a week from today when it travels to Berkeley, Calif., for the annual ITA Kickoff Weekend. The Lady Rebels will take on St. Mary's to begin the two-day event.
