Pume, who finished 3-2 overall at the national event, lost to Chris Diaz of Ohio State, 6-1, 6-3.

Pume and his teammates are next in action at the USTA/ITA Mountain Region Championships, which open Oct. 15 and take place at the Darling Tennis Center in Las Vegas.
