"Today was a good and tough meet for us," said cross country head coach Jebreh Harris. "Our student-athletes needed a highly competitive meet on a tight course to challenge our gusto and what we have inside. We gained a bit of toughness and grew a bit today and I can't be upset at that. It's a step forward from where we have been the previous years and we are motivated to make more steps forward."
The Oregon Ducks took first with a team score of 88 and a total time of 1:43.50. Oregon finished first despite having no runners in the top 10; however, all five of it scorers placed between 11th and 24th.
The Boise State Broncos, one of five Mountain West programs to run at The Farm, took second behind a team score of 103 and a time of 1:43.04.
