LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) -
The UNLV men's and women's swimming and diving team is back in action this weekend, beginning with a men's only meet on Friday at 4 pm against Denver. That will be followed by Saturday's contest against BYU, featuring both UNLV squads. Saturday's meet will begin at 12 pm, with both meets held in Buchanan Natatorium on the UNLV campus.
Saturday's meet will be live video streamed on the Mountain West Network at UNLVRebels.com/videos. Live results are available for both meets as well.

• UNLV has won nine conference championship meets in the past 10 seasons, including the final seven years of the Mountain West. The Rebels' streak was narrowly broken in 2012 at the MPSF, but then won the 2013 MPSF title and the 2014 WAC championship
• UNLV turned in a top-20 finish at the 2014 NCAA Championship meet, which included one top-eight relay finish and a pair of individual top-16 scoring swims
• UNLV returns five swimmers that scored at last year's national championships: Dillon Virva, Balint Batka, Samuel Lameynardie, Tom Paco-Pedroni and Henrique Machado.
• Those five swimmers also helped the Rebels win three individual titles and four conference relay titles
UNLV Women
• The Rebels will be looking to their youth this season after graduating a pair of seniors that reached the NCAA championships several times in their career, including two-time All-American (Honorable Mention) Katelyne Herrington
• That underclassmen group includes eight sophomores and seven freshman, joining eight juniors and just three seniors
