LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV men's and women's swimming and diving teams host a dual meet with Arizona State on Saturday at 12 pm at Buchanan Natatorium.
UNLV MEN
• Five Rebels are ranked in the top 16 in the nation in their events. Dillon Virva (fifth) and Or Sabatier (11th) are both ranked in the 50 free, while Tom Paco-Pedroni has turned in the 18th-fastest time in the nation in that event. Paco-Pedroni and Sabatier are eighth and 14th in the 100 free, respectively, while Henrique Machado is second in the nation in the 100 back
• Four UNLV relays have posted national top-16 times this year. Leading the way are the 200 and 400 free relays, both third in the nation. The 200 medley relay holds the fifth fastest time overall, while the 400 medley relay is ranked nine.
• Two Rebels have earned WAC weekly honors this season. Balint Batka was the Swimmer of the Week on Nov. 11, and Lucas James was the Diver of the Week on Nov. 25.
UNLV WOMEN
• UNLV won its first meet of the season on Nov. 8 with 40-point victory over BYU in Las Vegas
• In that dual meet, three Rebels won two events each, Julia Fehervari, Stephanie Samudro and Jessica Wong
