LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - No less than 60 current and former UNLV student-athletes are eligible to take part in Saturday's annual Spring Commencement Ceremonies at the Thomas & Mack Center on campus.
The list includes Rebels who wrapped up their course work this semester as well as those on track to complete their degrees during the summer sessions.
Some graduates, including eight football players, have remaining eligibility and will compete for their respective teams again next season while pursuing either a master's or second bachelor's degree.
Nearly 3,000 UNLV undergraduate, graduate and professional students are eligible to participate in this year's Spring Commencement Ceremonies, which are split into two sessions beginning at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. The grads range in age from 18 to 71 and hail from 37 states and 61 countries. Since 1964, UNLV has awarded more than 115,000 degrees.
