Rebels Welcome Alumni Back To Earl E.

Oct. 16, 2015

LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV baseball program will welcome back those that previously donned the Scarlet & Gray for its annual alumni game on Nov. 7, at Earl E. Wilson Stadium. First pitch is scheduled for 10:00 am following a 30-minute batting practice session for the alumni that is slated from 9:00 am to 9:30 am.

The alumni will also be given a tour of the Anthony and Lyndy Marnell III Baseball Clubhouse – a two-story complex that will measure 10,000 square feet and include coaches offices, a players lounge, an academic area, a team locker room, two indoor batting cages, a weight room as well as training and equipment areas.

In addition to the alumni game, the Rebels will welcome the Utah Utes, a former Mountain West foe and current member of the Pac-12 Conference, to town for an 11:00 am tilt on Saturday, Oct. 24.

Both games are open to the public and free of charge.

The Rebels open the 2016 campaign on the road against the Texas Longhorns in Austin for a three-game series scheduled for Feb. 19-21. They’ll return to Las Vegas for a seven-game stretch that begins with four against the West Virginia Mountaineers (Feb. 26-29) and three more versus the San Jose State Spartans (March 4-6).
