LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV women's tennis team lost 5-2 to Penn on Wednesday at the Fertitta Tennis Complex.
The Rebels dropped to 5-7 while the Quakers improved to 6-4.
The visitors from the Ivy League took a 1-0 lead by winning both completed doubles matches.
In singles, the hosts only could secure wins on court four, where Paola Artiga downed Lina Qostal 7-5, 6-3, and court six, where Alexis Garrett got by Luba Vazhenina 7-6, 7-5.
The Rebels will be back on the courts tomorrow when they host No. 20 Duke starting with doubles play at 10 a.m. Admission is free of charge.
