LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV women's tennis team lost to No. 20 Duke Thursday at the Fertitta Tennis Complex.
The Rebels dropped to 5-8 while the Blue Devils improved to 9-5.
Duke opened by taking both completed doubles matches for a 1-0 lead and then took the first three completed singles matches to clinch it. UNLV was leading in two of the matches that were halted.
The Rebels will be back on the courts Tuesday when they host Iowa starting with doubles play at 10 a.m. Admission is free of charge.
