SAN DIEGO (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV men's tennis team closed its regular-season schedule with a 4-0 defeat at No. 38 San Diego State on Saturday at the Aztec Tennis Center.

The Rebels fell to 13-9 overall and completed Mountain West Conference play at 3-4 while the Aztecs improved to 17-7 and 5-2.

SDSU opened a 1-0 lead by taking both completed doubles matches and then recorded three straight-set singles wins to clinch it. The remaining three matches were then halted.

UNLV will now await seeding for the 2015 MW Men's Tennis Championship, which will take place starting Thursday in Albuquerque, N.M.
