LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - UNLV placed Auzsane Crowe-Carter and its 4x100m relay squad on the 2015 Mountain West Outdoor All-Conference Track & Field Team. All-Conference recognition is granted to the top three finishers in each event at the MW Outdoor Championships, which were recently held this past weekend at San Diego State's Sports Deck.
Auzsane Crowe-Carter claimed her second consecutive 800m title to earn All-MW honors. Crowe-Carter won the 2014 crown with a stadium-record time in Laramie, Wyo., and claimed this year's - 2:08.63 - by more than one second over her closest competitor. In total, she has been named to the outdoor team three times over after a third-place finish in 2013.
The relay quartet of Drea Austin, Kenia Bonilla, Micayla Coquia and Monay Meggs placed second in the 4x100m with a time of 45.67 to earn All-MW distinction - the eighth straight year in the event for UNLV.
With help from Crowe-Carter and the relay squad, the Scarlet & Gray finished fifth overall at the Conference meet.
