LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - UNLV baseball will host a series of camps in June, July and August at Earl E. Wilson Stadium and they will be directed by the Rebel coaching staff.

The Rebels will host two camps in June, two in July and one in August. The first four camps are set up for youngsters between the ages of 5-13 while the final camp is for high school and junior college players.

The Rebel Baseball Academy Summer Youth Camp I will run from June 15-18. The camp is open to all entrants between the ages of 5-13 and will focus on instruction in all phases of the game of baseball including hitting and defensive drills, throwing and pitching mechanics, arm care, sliding drills, competitive relays and drills and batting practice. Campers have the option to attend the morning session from 8:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. for $175 or can attend the full day, which finishes at 3:00 p.m., for $275.

The Rebel Baseball Academy Summer Youth Camp II will be June 29 through July 2. The camp is open to all entrants between the ages of 5-13 and will focus on instruction in all phases of the game of baseball including hitting and defensive drills, throwing and pitching mechanics, arm care, sliding drills, competitive relays and drills and batting practice. Campers have the option to attend the morning session from 8:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. for $175 or can attend the full day, which finishes at 3:00 p.m., for $275.

The camp is open to all entrants between the ages of 5-13 and will focus on instruction in all phases of the game of baseball including hitting and defensive drills, throwing and pitching mechanics, arm care, sliding drills, competitive relays and drills and batting practice. The Rebel Baseball Academy Summer Youth Camp IV will be July 20-23. The camp is open to all entrants between the ages of 5-13 and will focus on instruction in all phases of the game of baseball including hitting and defensive drills, throwing and pitching mechanics, arm care, sliding drills, competitive relays and drills and batting practice. Campers have the option to attend the morning session from 8:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. for $175 or can attend the full day, which finishes at 3:00 p.m., for $275.

The UNLV summer camps will conclude with the Rebel Baseball Academy HS/JC Showcase Camp on August 15-16. The camp is designed for players with specific interest in attending and playing baseball at UNLV. It is formulated to allow players to display their abilities in front of the Rebel coaching staff. The camp will run from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday and 8:00 a.m. to noon on Sunday. The first day the camp will include position instruction, pro style workout, batting practice and defensive skills evaluation as well as a question and answer session along with a tour of UNLV. The second day will include hitting instruction and the camp will conclude with the showcase games. The cost of the camp is $275.00.

UNLV will also hold two winter camps in January 2016. The Rebel Baseball Academy HS/JC Showcase Camps will be held on January 1-11 and January 16-18.
