Sept. 23, 2015 LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - UNLV women's soccer standout Jodi Barber has been named the Outstanding Rebel of the Week presented by Air Force Reserve, the school announced Wednesday.

The new award goes to the student-athlete who turned in the best individual performance during the previous week of competition, as voted on by the UNLV communications department.

The senior from Maysville, N.C., scored three goals and added an assist in the Rebels' two wins last weekend. She assisted on the game-winner and then kicked in an insurance goal in a 3-1 victory against Hawai'i. She also knocked in two goals in a 4-1 triumph over UTRGV as part of her team-leading seven shots over the weekend.

Barber was named the Mountain West Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week for her efforts.
