NCAA West Region Information Central

LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV cross country program is sending six members to Northern California to compete in the NCAA West Region Championships. The 6K race is scheduled to begin at 11:00 am Friday and it will be held at Haggin Oaks Golf Course in Sacramento, California.

Running for the Scarlet & Gray will be Spencer Moore, Lindy Eskin, Sara Williams, Yamilet Biggers, Caitlin Amburgey and Angela Ziff.

Five of the six legged out season bests at Santa Clara's Bronco Invitational (6K) last month. Moore, who has paced the squad in all five races this year, ran a time of 20:58.8. Amburgey (22:32.5), Eskin (23:04.2), Ziff (21:44.6) and Biggers (25:04.5) also had their best 6K efforts take place at the Sunnyvale Golf Course.

Williams (22:03.4) ran her best 6K time in September at the UC Riverside Invitational.
