LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - UNLV had a total of 34 student-athletes named to the Fall 2015 Academic All-Mountain West Team, the league announced. The Rebels have boasted at least 34 representatives on the fall list for 10 consecutive years.

The women's soccer team led the way with 13 honorees, which marks the second straight year with that same figure. The volleyball squad added a program-best 11, while nine from football and one from cross country rounded out the quartet of sports that participate in the MW and are sponsored by UNLV in the fall academic period.

To be eligible for selection to the Academic All-MW Team, student-athletes must have completed at least one academic term at the school, while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better, and be a starter or significant contributor on their team. Overall, a league-record 571 student-athletes were named to the Fall 2015 Academic All-MW Team.

In addition, the UNLV men's soccer team had for players -- Corey Ackley, Bradley Kamdem, Cody Massey and Oscar Velazquez -- named to the 2015 Academic All-WAC Team in January.
