ATLANTA (UNLVRebels.com) - UNLV senior Dillon Virva completed his second event on Friday morning at the 2016 NCAA Men's Swimming Championships, held this year at the Herb McAuley Aquatic Center on the Georgia Tech campus.
Virva's swim in the 100fFly put him in 47th place with a time of 48.59. This was Virva's second fastest time in the event for the season, right behind the 47.24 that he swam at the WAC 2016 Championships.
Virva will return to the pool on Saturday morning for the preliminaries in the 100 Free. Thanks to his ninth-place showing on Thursday in the 50 free, UNLV currently stands in a tie for 30th place in the team standings, along with Utah.
