LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV track & field team fresh off its fifth-place finish at last week's Mountain West Outdoor Track & Field Championships had five individuals and one relay squad earn all-conference honors. Leading the Rebel contingent was Auzsane Crowe-Carter, a two-time selection this year after a runner-up showing in the 800m with her MW Outdoor personal-best time of 2:07.00. Crowe-Carter was also an instrumental member of the 4x400m relay team that placed third.
After competing in four outdoor meets contested by the MW in her career, Crowe-Carter has earned All-MW recognition four times as an individual in the 800m and two more as a relay participant in the 4x400m.
Crowe-Carter was joined by teammates Destiny Smith-Barnett (100m), Drea Austin (100m), Ayana Gales (long jump) and Cortney Miller (hammer) on the All-MW Team.
The relay quartet of Mandy Chitwood, Micayla Coquia, Joniece Ervin and Crowe-Carter placed third in the 4x400m with a time of 3:42.43 to earn the Rebels All-MW distinction in the event four of the past five years.
