LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - UNLV middle distance runner Auzsane Crowe-Carter has been named the Outstanding Rebel of the Week presented by Air Force Reserve, the school announced Wednesday.

The award goes to the student-athlete who turned in the best individual performance during the previous week of competition, as voted on by the UNLV communications department.

Leading the Rebels' contingent at last weekend's MW Outdoor Track and Field Championships was Auzsane Crowe-Carter. Crowe-Carter was a two-time selection this year. She was the runner-up in the 800m and also an instrumental member of the 4x400m relay team that placed third. After competing in four outdoor meets contested by the MW in her career, Crowe-Carter has earned All-MW recognition four times as an individual in the 800m and two more as a relay participant in the 4x400m.
