LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - Members of UNLV's track & field program and cheer team volunteered at Saturday's "This One's For The Boys and Girls!" Prostate & Ovarian Cancer Walk/Run, which was held at Myron Partridge Stadium.

September is Prostate and Ovarian Cancer Month and Saturday's event benefited 21st Century C.A.R.E. and Cancer Train. Both organizations are dedicated to cancer patients in Southern Nevada, and provide financial assistance to those receiving treatment. The event also raised money for ovarian cancer awareness education as well as financial assistance.

Participants at the walk/run received a medal, t-shirt and bag. Various items were raffled, including Southwest Airline tickets, golf outings, nightlife experiences and more.
