Aztec Invitational Info

LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV cross country program will head back down to Southern California to compete in the 72nd Annual Aztec Invitational 5k at Mission Bay Tecolote Shores North Park in San Diego with the start time of 8:30 am Friday. This meet will be the only 5k the Rebels will run, as the next race - the Bronco Invitational in Northern California - will be another 6k.

"We are looking forward to our race this weekend. We have been training well and I am excited to see how we will execute this Friday," stated head coach Jebreh Harris.

Spencer Moore as well as Lindy Eskin, Sara Williams, Angela Ziff, Kennedy Allen, Caitlin Amburgey, Alexis MacArthur, and Nicole Snow will run for UNLV in San Diego.

Last weekend, the Rebels finished 14th overall at the UCR Invitational in Riverside, Calif. Moore paced the Scarlet & Gray contingent with a 37th-place showing.
