LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV men's tennis team won its fourth straight match with a 4-0 shutout win over UC Riverside on Saturday at the Fertitta Tennis Complex.

The Rebels improved to 4-0, while the Highlanders feel to 1-6.

"It was a long weekend of tennis and there were a number of areas we need to improve on," said head coach Owen Hambrook. "We now have a week of practice before a tough Stanford team on the road."

UNLV won two doubles matches to begin the afternoon. Jakob Amilon and Evaldo Neto defeated Cooper Bridge and Anderson Ju 6-1 at No. 1, while Adam Gage-Brown and Richard Solberg downed Nabil Abdallah and Olivier Kigotho 6-3 on court three.

In singles, the Rebels won three matches. Ruben Alberts got by Tadeas Lansky 6-2, 7-5 at No. 3; Neto downed Gilbert Chung 6-1, 6-1 at No. 4 and Croxford defeated Ju 6-2, 6-3 on court six.

UNLV will travel to the Golden State on Friday, Feb. 10 to take on No. 20 Stanford starting with doubles at 3 p.m.
