LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV men's tennis team won its third match in the last 24 hours with a 6-1 victory Thursday over Boston College at the Fertitta Tennis Complex.

The Rebels improved to 7-4 overall while the Eagles of the ACC fell to 5-5.

UNLV took a thrilling doubles point with wins on courts three and one.

In singles play, the hosts won in straight sets on five of six courts.

REBEL OF THE MATCH: Alexandr Cozbinov, ranked 89th in the nation, teamed up with Courtney Lock to clinch doubles at the top spot and then breezed past Derek Austin in singles play, 6-2, 6-1.

NET NOTE: The Rebels have won the doubles point in five straight matches.
