WIN AND THEY'RE IN: The Mountain West Tournament is scheduled for May 24-27 in San Diego. To date, UNR and San Diego State have already secured two of the four spots in the postseason field, while UNLV, San Jose State, Air Force and Fresno State all have an opportunity to extend their seasons pending play this weekend.
Coincidentally, there are three conference series this weekend that will decide the MW regular-season champion as well as the final two qualifying squads. UNR plays hosts to SDSU, while UNLV travels to Fresno State and Air Force heads to San Jose State.
To earn at least one more week of play, the Rebels must win at least two of three games against the Bulldogs. Things get a bit trickier for the Scarlet & Gray if there is any other result than two or three wins.
