LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV Rebels and Grand Canyon Lopes had their nonconference game Tuesday afternoon canceled due to inclement weather.
 
The Rebels (22-16 overall, 9-9 Mountain West) will now focus their attention on this weekend's three-game, Mountain West series against the UNR Wolf Pack (18-17, 8-10 MW) in Reno at Don Weir Field at Peccole Park. UNLV and UNR will open action Thursday evening at 6:00 pm. The series continues Saturday and Sunday at 6:00 pm and 1:00 pm, respectively.
 
Additionally, this weekend's tilt in Reno will count towards the Silver State Series presented by IBEW and Nevada Donor Network. Currently, UNLV leads the all-encompassing athletic and academic competition by three points, 13.5 to 10.5. The Rebels and Wolf Pack have already squared off three times in Las Vegas (March 22-24), and the former leads the season series 2-1.
