HOUSTON (UNLVRebels.com) – UNLV baseball and Houston will have to wait until Saturday to begin their nonconference series at Schroeder Park, as inclement weather is expected to roll through Space City.
Friday's contest will not be made up; however, the series between the Mountain West and American Athletic Conference squads will get underway Saturday evening at 6:30 pm CT (4:30 pm PT) and continue through Sunday at 1:00 pm CT (11:00 am PT).
RARE WEATHER: With the cancelation of Friday's game at Houston, UNLV has now had inclement weather wreak havoc on its schedule on four occasions. The first two instances occurred over back-to-back weekends in the Golden State in series at Stanford and Fresno State, while the third was a home affair against Grand Canyon on April 16. The GCU affair was the only one that was not made up or had play resumed.
FOLLOW ALONG: Fans can follow the remaining games of this weekend's nonconference series between UNLV and UH through live stats, video, radio and Twitter (@UNLVbaseball). Links to the streams as well as statistics will be made available at UNLVRebels.com.

BACK AT EARL E.: UNLV will return to Las Vegas and Earl E. Wilson Stadium for its final three games of the regular season on May 16-18 – a Thursday-Friday-Saturday series – against the Fresno State Bulldogs.

All high school, middle school and elementary students are now free under UNLV's new admission policy. All other students will receive a complimentary ticket at the box office (no I.D. required). Kids not yet elementary school age will continue to receive free admission for all UNLV Olympic sports.
