LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – UNLV men's tennis has signed Creed Skinner for next season, head coach
Owen Hambrook announced Thursday.
Skinner, out of the Tucker Tennis Academy in Edmond, Oklahoma, signed a national letter of intent with the school and will be a freshman for the Rebels in fall 2023.
A four-star recruit who reached the third round of the 2022 USTA National Championships in Kalamazoo, Skinner is listed as a Top 100 prospect in the nation and No. 1 in the state by the Tennis Recruiting Network.
"We are very excited that Creed has signed with UNLV and will be joining the program next fall," said Hambrook. "He is a special young man with great character, a strong work ethic. and a lot of potential. We have been watching him for a while. He will be a great addition to the team and we are looking forward to seeing him compete for the Rebels."
