LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – A complete game by RHP Josh Ibarra, allowing only two runs off of three hits, led UNLV to defeat New Mexico, 15-2, Friday night at Earl E. Wilson Stadium.

The Rebels saw their record improve to 27-12 (16-3 MW), while the Lobos dropped to 15-21 (6-13 MW). 

REBEL OF THE GAME: Josh Ibarra pitched his first complete game of the season, allowing only two runs on three hits and eight strikeouts, to help the Rebels defeat the Lobos during game one of a three-game series. 

Josh Ibarra (5-0) earned his fifth win of the season after pitching a complete game, allowing two runs on three hits and eight strikeouts. 

Brett Russell (1-5) was saddled with the loss after pitching 3.0 innings, allowing seven runs off of eight hits and four strikeouts. 

UP NEXT: The Rebels will continue the three-game conference series against the Lobos Saturday, with first pitch slated for 1:05 p.m.

Single-game ticket prices this season are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors, faculty and staff, and $5 to groups of 15 or more. Fans that purchase tickets online before game day can get them for an advanced single-game price of $6. 

All high school, middle school and elementary students are free under UNLV's new admission policy. To receive free admission, high school students must present valid Nevada are school I.D. at the box office on gameday for one (1) complimentary ticket. Current UNLV students will receive free admission with a valid school I.D. All other students will receive a complimentary ticket at the box office (no I.D. required). Kids not yet elementary school age will continue to receive free admission for all UNLV Olympic sports.
