RIVERSIDE, Calif. (UNLVRebels.com) - UNLV cross country's Anya Gorely and Breanna Blanks guided the Scarlet & Gray in the 6K on Saturday morning at the UC Riverside Invitational. Gorely paced the Rebel contingent with a time of 21:58.3, while Blanks ran a personal-best time of 22:18.4 at the UCR AG Ops Course.
The Scarlet & Gray finished 29th overall capturing 803 points. Sophie Kellogg (22:21.9), Peyton Pilling (22:22.3), Avery Smith (23:03 - personal best), Alana Sangprasit (23:35.9), Reese LeBaron (23:57.3 - personal best) and Frankie Scotello (24:10.8) rounded out the Rebel runners.
UC Irvine (65 points) won the race, while Cal State Fullerton (152 points) and Biola (161 points) were second and third, respectively.
NEXT UP: UNLV will head home to run in the Duel In The Desert on Friday, September 25 at Floyd Lamb Park.
