FORT COLLINS, Colo. (UNLVRebels.com) – For the first time in the program's 25-year history, the UNLV women's golf team won its first two tournaments of the season after sweeping the team and individual titles Tuesday at the Ben Connell Ram Classic at Ptarmigan Country Club (Par 72, 6,493 yards).

RAM CLASSIC CHAMPIONS: After carding a final-round 6-under 282, the Rebels tied their third-lowest 54-hole score of all-time with a 19-under 845. Freshman Kuree Little claimed individual medalist honors with a bogey-free final round of 6-under 66 as she ended the event with the program's second-lowest tournament score by a freshman at 12-under 204.

REBEL ROUNDUP: In the Scarlet & Gray lineup, four Rebels shot par or better for the tournament to finish in the top 12. Senior Zi Yu Foong (-3), who shared co-medalist honors at the same tournament last year, landed in the top 10 with a ninth-place performance, while junior Amber Chen (E) and sophomore Lana Yamagata (E) tied for 12th. Also making the trip, freshman Addison Hines (+9) took 47th playing as an individual in her return to her home state and sophomore Demi Du (+13) tied for 63rd.

REBEL FINISH: Helping the Rebels create separation in the final round alongside Little, Foong piled on a 2-under 70 for the second consecutive round to give the duo a combined 8-under in the round and Chen notched a third straight even-par 72. As a team, the Scarlet & Gray went bogey free on seven holes, including five birdies on 16, four birdies on nine, two birdies on 12 and 13, a birdie on 18 and pars across the board on the second hole.

MARGIN OF VICTORY: As a team, UNLV came out 12 shots ahead of runner-up Washington. In the individual standings, Little landed six shots in front of runners-up Hannah Ounap from Washington, UNR's Nicole Kolbas and Washington State's Sydney Bisgrove.

QUOTABLE: "This team showed incredible grit and maturity this week. Going back-to-back is never easy, but seeing everyone step up when it mattered most speaks volumes about where this program is heading. For our freshman to come out, stay so composed under pressure, and capture the individual title is just special. Kuree plays with a level of poise well beyond her years. I couldn't be more proud of this group's focus, heart and commitment to the process. Go Rebels!"

UP NEXT: The Rebels will return to Colorado in 10 days for the Ron Moore Intercollegiate being held at University of Denver Golf Club at Highlands Ranch from Oct. 2-4.

NOTES:

• The Scarlet & Gray has brought home individual medalist honors twice in a row at the Ram Classic.
• In addition to making history, this was also the Rebels' fourth victory in their last six tournaments. That string of first-place team performances include the squad's recent season-opening Branch Law Firm/Dick McGuire Invitational paired with the 2026 Mountain West Championship and the Jackrabbits Invitational this past spring.
• Along with that, the Scarlet & Gray has now won the team title in three of its past four regular season tournaments.
• This marked UNLV's 17th team victory under head coach Amy Bush-Herzer, who is in her 16th season at the helm of the UNLV women's golf program.
